It has been a life-long dream of mine to learn to play the drums. When I met Christiaan for the first time, I was reassured by his confident personal demeanor which made me feel at ease. I have never before attended formal music lessons but Christiaan displayed exceptional patience when I became nervous and presented the class in such a way that I understood the theory and practical information clearly. Christiaan has a practical approach to teaching and the classes are always interesting and fun. He is an amazing drummer and never fails to inspire me. During my first recital on 7 December 2022, I had great difficulty with one section of the song, but Christiaan calmed me down and helped me improvise so that my pieces were well played and well received by the audience. Christiaan is passionate about teaching and playing drums, he believes in his students and I personally have grown immensely in confidence!
